Your multi-faceted adventure begins with a quick flight to Grand Canyon South Rim riding in an executive-style airplane. You’ll land in no time and be comfortably transported to Maverick’s South Rim terminal. There you’ll begin your helicopter tour of the breathtaking Grand Canyon.
After a brief introduction from your pilot, you’ll soar above Kaibab National Forest, the world’s largest grove of ponderosa pines. Our state-of-the-art ECO-Star helicopters have large wraparound windows that offer unparalleled views of this amazing preserve. This gorgeous 25-minute helicopter flight over the Grand Canyon sweeps by such vistas as Tower of Ra, Dragon Head, and Dragon Corridor, the deepest and widest segment of Grand Canyon. Covering approximately 55 miles in all, this aerial experience of the Grand Canyon is sure to be an unforgettable highlight of your trip.
Next we return you to the ground where you’ll be shuttled into Grand Canyon National Park. There we enjoy legendary vistas, panoramic overlooks, and beautiful hiking trails that can only be accessed from inside the park.
At Grand Canyon Village, you can scout the park’s historic buildings. Such as El Tovar, constructed in 1903, and Mary Colter’s famous Hopi House. You’ll also have time to romance panoramic overlooks, such as Trail View Point. Stop in at the shops and bring a part of your journey home with you.
A delicious box lunch will be served at Bright Angel Lodge overlooking the West Rim’s edge. This immersive tour of the Grand Canyon concludes with a return flight whisking you back to Las Vegas. You’ll glide over the Mojave Desert to Maverick’s Henderson terminal and be returned to your hotel with stories to last a lifetime.
